About Our Music

The Music behind; The Rusty Bucket Kids television Series is released on Center Sound Records out of Raleigh, North Carolina.

The music is written and produced exclusively for the show by Emmy nominated writer/producer Craig Brandwynne. From inception, Mr. John Demers and Craig Brandwynne had lengthy discussions on the type of music and sound should be. “We wanted the music to be very organic and easy to sing along with and remember” said Mr. Brandwynne. “It is very important to me that the songs have meaning and integrity yet serve the purpose for the show”. Originally the theme song was “All Aboard” and now theme song has since been changed to “Take me for a Ride”.

Roxanna Demers, who is the co-lead in the show is now singing the theme song “Take me for a Ride” written by Craig Brandwynne, Marissa Begin and Rhiannon Page. Marissa plays the character Emily in the pilot episode. Marissa also sings on the new extended play CD and is continuing to co-write more songs for the show.  Roxanna is also beginning to write songs, for the show.

You can catch co-lead John Coleman Demers new song “ Look at Me Now” also on the Extended Play CD now available.  50% of the song proceeds is bening donated to the charity Leader Dogs Leader Dogs for the Blind.

Roxanna is going to be singing more songs as well.  As the show and episodes develops we hope to have many songs that are sung by the cast members.

CRAIG BRANDWYNNE

Craig  Brandwynne has been in the music business for over 35 years and is an accomplished musician, composer, writer, producer and engineer. Craig’s credits include television daytime dramas (Another World, Guiding Light, As the World Turns), feature films and television pilots. Craig has written and produced music for artists and corporate clients as well as written for musical theater.  . In 2010, Craig and The Rusty Bucket Kids television show received three Emmy® nominations at the 25th Annual Midsouth Regional Emmy® Awards for Music; Composer and Arranger / Set Design & Writer/Program.
